Even before it started warming up outside, my kids were asking me, “Can we go swimming yet? puuuulease?”
We haven’t been yet, but with school letting out here next week for Summer break I’m sure we’ll frequent the pools quite a bit. There’s just something about playing in water that most kids love.
Kids grow and learn when they are doing activities they enjoy. That stimulation is essential to brain development. It’s also just as important to make sure that they have a safe environment to enjoy themselves and just be kids.
…. someone’s child is going to pass away from accidental drowning this summer. Make sure that child is not yours.

If you own a pool, make sure it is gated and/or has an alarm attached for extra safety.
